Busy Week

Buddy time me and Hunter.  He picked to go to Subway, as well.  It has been such a blessing to have some alone time with each child.

Duck Donuts after swim.  Andrew and Hunter are done with lessons.  We wouldn't call them swimmers, but they are really close.  I couldn't go to lessons either night.  On Tuesday I went to a "refreshing night out for moms" at Naples.  Unfortunately, it was not too refreshing for me; Jess cried the whole time.  At least the other ladies were refreshed :) Last night Jessica and I went to Jack and Jules consignment pre event to stock up on fall/winter wardrobes for all 6.

Horses and impetigo

Nathan Bates brought his horses for the kids (and adults) to ride after church! I was a little surprised that all our kids did it and liked it.  well, except Addie.  She did not like it.

Buddy time for Andrew and Sean.  Andrew picked to go to Subway!

Andrew requested that I post pictures of his impetigo lol.  So here they are!

Buddy Time

We read about a family who does Buddy Time and we thought it might be something to do for our family.  So basically once a week a parent rotates taking a child out somewhere to do something special.  Addie was first with Daddy and they went down to Sweet Cafe and had ice cream and went to the park.  It looks  like they enjoyed it!  Next up this week is me and Hailey!

Ryan's June BD

Our "Little King" turned 8 April 29th, but for some reason the celebration continued in to June lol!  We surprised him and took him to Chuck E Cheese and his BFF was there, as well.  Then off to Toys R Us and a Starbux for finishing swim.  Good day for him.  Birthday is officially over.  ha ha.  :)

Pray for andrew.  He had his ENT f/u app.  He has fluid in the right ear, which he is now on Zyrtec for to hopefully dry it up, and he has a perforated eardrum on the left, which happened because of ear tubes.  Grrr.  Good thing is, is it is acting as a natural tube and draining fluid.  The perforation may heal on its own, but if not he would have to have surgery where they take a piece of skin from his neck to patch up the hole.  If there is still fluid, still talking about tubes.  Great news is he passed his hearing test!  Next app is Aug 22nd.

Hunter is doing great PTL and seems to be healed up nicely!!!!

1 to 3

I got to spend Monday with the 3 littles while Ryan and Hunter were with The Bates at Wonder Works in Pigeon Forge as a part of a church field trip.  We had decided it was best not for me to go, being 39 weeks preggo tomorrow and Sean wouldn't be able to come because of working.  I have missed them much today!  it has been quiet.  Too quiet.  We've never let them do something like this before.  However, I have enjoyed getting some 1 on 3 time with the others.  And it is good to get a chance to be reminded that noise and chaos and more children is a blessing!!!  3 seems really easy lol!  Not that Ryan and Hunter are the only ones who make noise and chaos!  :) I got to take the littles to Jaycee Park and then we met Daddy at the Museum of Appalachia for lunch and then home to let Andrew watch a movie while the girls (including mama!) napped.  Hopefully they had a special day, too.  I did.  Now I'm ready to reunite with Ry and Hunter!

10 Wednesday Thoughts

1.  Andrew is now in a booster seat.

2.  And we flipped Addison forward.  She was waving at everything out the window and couldn't stop grinning.  I shouldn't leave out that Andrew was pretty excited too.
3.  Me and Sean get a date night tomorrow after we pre-register at the hospital for baby Jessica and go to an OB appointment!

4.  Ryan is missing like 6 teeth!

5.  Hunter.  Well no news really.  But didn't want to leave #2 out.  :)

6.  Hailey started potty training.  :)  And she is doing great so far.

7.  Addison is OFFICIALLY a walker.   No more crawling for her.

8.  Ryan found a 4 leaf clover on Monday after searching for just a few mere minutes.  We were pretty excited.  I remember combing through clover patches when I was little, but never did find one.

9.  Happy Spring!!!!!!

10.  I'm 36 weeks now - I think everyone is getting excited to meet Jessica Grace :)

Gatlinburg Vacay!

Friday, after grocery shopping and getting our milk, me and the kiddos headed up to Westgate Gatlinburg (our timeshare) to celebrate Hailey and Hunter's BDs.  GPS took us a totally different scenic route so it was fun!  Sean met us after he got off work.  We ate dinner in and unpacked.  Saturday we headed to the Aquarium of the Smokies.  We got season passes for all 8 Ripley's attractions up in Gatlinburg for all the kids birthdays and to contribute to Gatlinburg after the fires.  The aquarium was packed!  Then we did a little shopping in downtown Gatlinburg at The Village and got some Starbucks.  Tried to head to Olive Garden for dinner, but didn't feel like the 1.5 hr wait was worth it with 5 small children lol.  So off to Friday's we went.  Sunday, we were lazy and ended up doing home (hotel) church  (probably because of the time change and our busy Saturday).  We went to the waterpark at Westgate for a bit, the playground, and yes, yes went back to Starbucks.  Had to get our 30 weekend bonus stars!  Ryan and Sean and Addie went to Ripley's Davy Crockett putt-putt while the rest of us camped out in the car - I needed to rest and the other children had bad attitudes.  Grumps.  Last night we ate in and today Sean got up super early to go to work.  Me and the children packed up and headed home around 1030.  It's good to be home, but a little sad vacation is over. You know how it goes.

The only turtle Ryan got to see

Addie loved seeing her favorite animal for the first time!

Have I ever mentioned Hailey loves getting her picture made......even in the bathroom.
