International Mall in Tampa

We took Ryan first to Countryside Mall and got his picture taken with Santa.  Grandpa went with us.  :)  We got a photo package and a $20 gift card to Shutterfly, which hopefully will help with our Christmas cards....nice discount.  He got a Shining Stars stuffed animal, too.  Ryan did awesome.  He didn't cry at all.  He pulled Santa's beard.  hehe  Then we went to International Mall.  It was so pretty there and all decorated (see above).  We were going to walk through the snow globes, but there was a 10 minute wait and we didn't feel like waiting.  We had done that enough at the other mall for Santa and Starbucks, which BTW I got a HOT drink, which means it is cold enough to drink a hot beverage (in the 40s the last two nights).  :)  We got Godiva truffles and even a free truffle for getting a Godiva little scan card thingy and we get free chocolate with it every month.  YES!  We ate dinner and walked around.  AND I got a new necklace from Swarovski Crystal.  Well kinda.  Sean had given me a cross necklace for my Baptism a couple of years ago, but one of the little crystals fell out recently.  I went in there basically to ask them where to take it to get it fixed, but they just gave me a brand new one for free without a reciept or anything.  SWEET!  Sooooo, I will HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone and I will definitely shop there....hopefully often!

Turkey Trot 2009

This little girl was born on 9/9/09 at 9:09 a.m.  It even made the news and the paper around here.  It's Autumn's cousin's baby.  Ryan checked her over and then made a boo-boo face and started crying.

Sean, Ryan, my Dad and I got up super early (race started at 8:30 so early for a holiday) and walked the 1 mile Gobbler.  We met our friends Justin and Autumn and most of Autumn's family there.  Our race time was 24:40.  lol :)  Afterwards, we went with her family to McDonald's for a healthy (yah right) breakfast.  We had a lot of fun.  There was also a 3k, 5k and 10k.  Maybe another year for one of those.

Date Day at Florida Botanical Gardens

I find humor in this sign.

We just got this jogger stroller a week ago (used) for $40.  We are really excited because we have started to jog, well in a week we have jogged twice, but it's a start.  Our goal is to get good enough to run some races.  :)  Notice how Ryan is NOT in the jogger stroller.  He was for about 20 minutes, but as always, then he gets fussy and we have to put him in a carrier.  He loves his carriers.   I do love our regular stroller better, but this one will be great for our exercise.

Naners

Really this was just a picture taken to prove that I was here, too.  I am always the one behind the camera since I LOVE taking pictures.  I must take after my mama.  :)

Appears everyone picked the fruit off the miracle fruit tree.  All that's left is this stick.  I have heard a similar story of fruit being picked from a tree.....it didn't end well.

Aloha Friday - (Noelle's ?)

Did you cut your baby boy's hair before his first birthday?
Have you ever even heard of this "tradition?"

Noelle says it is a Southern tradition not to cut hair before first BD.  Well, I was born in the South,  raised in the South and still live in the South, but I have never heard of this.  I'm not sure Ryan will need a haircut before his first birthday.  He has hair and it's super cute and blonde and we think he is even growing a mullet, but it is still not long enough to warrant a trim.  So, we will see.  :)
