Baby # 3

We found out December 26th that we are expecting #3!  I am 9 weeks and definitely feeling like I am in my first trimester!  If there is a reason to feel sick, the is the best one.  We feel very blessed and we are excited to experience another pregnancy and meet our new baby.  We are so thankful to God for blessing us with another child.  This is our 8 week ultrasound.....everything looked great.  :)

Dunedin Green Market

Eating an orange

A few weeks ago on a Friday we headed down to the Dunedin Fresh Market.  It was a gorgeous day and there were lots of free samples.  :) We ended up buying yummy fruits and veggies, spreads, dips, bread, hummus, and all sorts of tasty things.  It was a beautiful day!

Christmas gifts

I know Christmas has come and gone, but I couldn't share earlier as we didn't want our family to know what we were doing, which was quite different last year. We first donated money to Joyce Meyer's Hand of Hope charity that does God's amazing work all over the world.  For the donations, Joyce Meyer Ministries sent color pictures of different children and adults that they have helped, which we were able to give to our family members.  Then we also donated to the Parkison's organization that was started by Michael J. Fox.  We did this in Sean's dad's name who was diagnosed with the disease.  We thought it a nice way togive to others who need far more than we do and a great way to demonstrate God's love for others.

Ryan's first prayer

We pray as a family all the time, but Ryan actually spoke his first prayer the other day.  It went something like this:

"Thank you for Tahj, Kina, and Jasmine (our Pastor's children whom he LOVES)  and please get us back outside (he wanted to go out and play).  In Jesus Name, Amen".

LOVED IT!

Hunter cruising and crawling

I realized I still hadn't posted Hunter crawling (as my friend Becca says, it's 2nd child syndrome!).  So last night while me and Hunter were waiting for Daddy and Ryan to rinse off after swim lessons and get dressed, I captured a 2 for 1.  Hunter cruising and then crawling.  He still does the Igor crawl where he drags one leg.  It's too funny.  He's actually gotten pretty good at it and he gets where he wants to go, but he definitely isn't as fast as Ryan was as a crawler.  Not a comparison, just an observation, and definitely not a complaint!!!  lol

Ry's bicycle

He's getting better at pedaling, but he still gets off and picks it up when he wants to point it in another direction.  So yah, need to work on steering!  lol Video taken from my phone

Hunter's first swing

We arrived to Ry's swim lessons on Monday only to find out they had been cancelled due to the holiday and because of a professional swim meet.  So we took the boys to the park.  Hunter loved his first time on the swings.  Taken from my phone so excuse the poor quality!

Shepherding A Child's Heart

Shepherding a Child's Heart, Revised and Updated -
        By: Tedd Tripp
Sean and I just finished reading this book, which I wholeheartedly recommend for every parent.  The author discusses matters of the heart from a biblical perspective rather than trying to correct behavior.  He also has separate chapters based on different age groups, which is really helpful.  The focus should always be to get the child's heart back to God and not a temporary change in behavior based on convenience, rewards, or control.  I say, read the book! :)

Swim lessons!

Ryan and Daddy with his first teacher!

We started Ryan's swim lessons, which go Mondays and Wednesdays from 530-600 for 4 weeks.  It is a parent child class at the Long Center.  He is definitely the oldest one there, most are more Hunter's age!  I think for the next classes, we will sign both of them up.  On Monday he worked on blowing bubbles, kicking (good at that!), and using arms like doggy paddles. He LOVED it and has been asking to go back ever since!

Outback Bowl 01/02/2012

Excuse the blurry hotdog hand mess!

This is me exploring Photoshop Elements.  Not sure if I like it or not.  I really have no clue what I'm doing so I just click on a bunch of stuff, which can lead down some pretty scary paths!  I can really mess up my pictures!  lol

Yup, trying out Photoshop
We went to the Outback Bowl this past Monday.  I am a BIG Georgia fan and they were playing Michigan State down here at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa (where the Buccaneers play).  We had a lot of fun.  It was chilly!!!!  Hunter slept through most of it.  Ryan cheered, shouting, "go, go, go" and "get 'em" and he would high five the people behind us.  He enjoyed it.  The boys were free to get in so that was a blessing, too.  They ended up going into triple overtime (we did not stay for all that) and unfortunately GA lost, but we still had a great time together.  This was the boys' first sporting event.  :)
