Zach and Whit's Wedding

We were very blessed to be a part of another wedding celebration!  That makes two in a little over a month, both Bates children!  This time, Zach and Whitney :0 )  The wedding was gorgeous.....and quite funny!  BUT I will explain that a little later.  The reception was also super sweet and very pretty.  Our family had such a great time fellowshipping with others and being a part of helping the happy couple start their new life together.  She was a beautiful bride!!!!!!  We pray that God blesses them immensely!
This is the church where the wedding was

Groomsmen

Bridesmaids

OK, so the best man did something really funny, unbeknownst to the bride and groom.  When he was asked for the ring, he pretended like he couldn't find it and then pulled out a ring pop and handed that over.  Then, he prayed with another groomsmen, asking for God's help in finding the ring.  At that point a small disco ball descended from the ceiling and inside of it......the ring.  And then a thank you Lord for answering his prayers.  Zach and Whit took it all in good fun. :)

Just when Whitney's Dad was about to say "You may kiss the bride", he decided instead to say, AFTER I get a kiss from her!  :)

And then the sweet moment!

AWWWWW!

The reception

The getaway car!  The original car that they were supposed to leave in was all wrapped up with Saran Wrap and who knows whatever else was done to it.  BUT Zach and Whitney outsmarted the pranksters.  At first Zach pretended to start taking off the Saran Wrap, but then another car pulled up, they got in, waved good-bye, and the brand new Mr. and Mrs. Zach Bates were off!

Will we get to see the weddings on the Duggars, I hope so. Or maybe they will have another cluster of shows on United Bates of America. We have watched the Bates grow up as well and would sure love to share in their joy. Godspeed to the Bates clan! We love you too!!!!

Linda and Natalie,

No, TLC is not going to air Zach and Whit's wedding. Sorry!!!! But they will show Chad and Erin's. There are no plans to air United Bates of America again either. The Bates, and the Duggars, are such sweet families and we love them so! They are such an encouragement and a blessing and a Godly example. We feel very blessed to know them and go to church with them; they have helped in our walk with the Lord. I'm so glad they have been a blessing to y'all, as well!!!!

Thanks for posting these pics! I'm just starting to look at your blog(I stumbled onto it from the Facebook page) and I'm so glad Zach and Whitney have you folks there for mutual encouragement. While I can be disappointed at not getting to see this wedding on TV, I can understand them wanting to keep it private since their family is so much under scrutiny. Back to read the rest of your blog and your own journey. What I've read so far is....well, strangely comforting. All the best to you as you wait for baby #4

I'm so glad you found my blog and thank you for taking the time to read about me and my family! I'm praising God that we have been comforting to you!

I don't know if they necessarily were trying to keep it private, but I am glad you get to see some pictures and that you have found encouragement through their family!

Thank you! We are very excited about our new blessing!

Merry Christmas to you and God bless!
