Target

So, there was no reason to take this picture, not even a good picture or background or anything, excep for the fact that I am in love with this little guy (and the big guy, too) and I just wanted to capture how stinkn cute he is.  Then I had to laugh that the Target sign was in the background.....not on purpose.  Caught again!  I LIVE at Target!  The sad thing is, there is a Starbucks there, too, so it's double trouble for me.  I LOVE them both and spend a lot of time with both of them.  Yesterday we had gone to Family Christian. I just started journaling and wanted to buy a journal.  Afterwards I thought we could stroll (literally) over to Starbucks for some Frapps and then to Target.  Sean gave in to Starbuck's, but it was a big NO to Target.  Oh well.  Next time.  I don't think we ever leave that store empty handed so that is why he tries to control my trips there probably.  Actually, come to think of it, we do own Target stock, so actually it is good for us to spend money there, right!!!??????  I'm reaching, huh!?

I couldn't actually see my camera screen because the sun is like 10 feet from us here in scorching FL, so I didn't know I caught him mid suck on his carrier.

Memorial Day

I don't know if "happy" Memorial Day is the right phrase!  Thanking all those who serve our country and those who have lost their lives for our freedom.  A big thanks to the families of our servicemen and women, too.

Evening news

Sean and I were watching the news the other night when a report came on about pedophiles and Facebook.  It was saying how pedophiles create Facebook pages and then link up with other pedophiles and then they post pics of kids on their pages.  Really creepy and scary to think about because the report was also saying that they can steal photos of your kids on your Facebook page and post them on their Facebook pages.  Of course, you can enhance your privacy settings and by the sound of that, it can resolve any issues BUT this got me thinking.........ANYONE can see my blog and my friends' blogs.....and we post pictures of our children ALL THE TIME.  Very scary and disgusting to think of someone stealing pictures of my kids or your kids.  Makes me sick to my stomach.  So, I wanted to know if this bothers you?  Especially my friends like Noelle and Becca.......... Does it scare you? Maybe I am just overreacting?  have you ever thought about it?  I talked to Sean about it a little bit and he said we needed to pray about it for guidance, but he also said that the pictures will ALWAYS be on the internet from my blog now............So, would love to hear what anyone else thinks about this.

Dedication

Well, my Dad and Grandma came to see Hunter's dedication at church today and my Dad took a couple of pics, but they didn't come out so I can't post them.  Any way, we had Hunter dedicated at church.  It was really neat, too, because our friends Jackson and Joy, who now live in Texas, came home and had their daughter Hannah, who is 10 days younger than Hunter, dedicated, as well.  We also had our sons, Ryan and Joel, dedicated together 2 years ago.  It was a lovely day!  Ryan is feeling better, still a little congested, but that doesn't slow him down.  He did gift me his sickness, and Hunter is a little congested, but Sean is healthy and well, thank goodness.  Happy Sunday!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

This was Ry's favorite place.  He calls all the fish "old fish" (from his Dr. Seuss book).  He could have stayed right here the whole time and he would have been happy as a clam!

Hunter was along for the ride :)

Every pic you will only see the back of Ryan!  Actually none of these pics came out too good, but I decided to post any way  :)

Stingray touch tank.  One tried to grab Ryan and he wasn't paying attention and it scared him.  I think he called the stingrays "sharks"!

He put his hands in his mouth after splashing around in the stingray touch tank.  Yuck!

Dolphins!!!!  Including the famous Winter.  There is a nationwide movie about her coming out in September.  She is a movie star around here.  She has a prosthetic tail.

Dolphins are my fave!!!!  I heart them.  :)

Otters

Ryan touching shells with animals in them.
On Friday we went to the mall and there was a little fish exhibit by the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Ryan loved it so we decided to take him there yesterday.  He LOVED seeing all the fish.   The last time we took him there he was really little so he really got to enjoy it this time.

You can also see Ryan's bad haircut, not Daddy's fault, but Ry's fault for throwing a tantrum while the electric razor was on his head!!!!

And I will leave you with a cool fact about dolphins:  They can tell when a woman (human woman) is pregnant because they can see the baby's heartbeat in the woman's belly.  That's amazing!

bath time for the baby

OK, so this was Ry's breakfast request this morning!

Humans!!!!

gethuman.com

I heard about this site yesterday.  It's actually pretty cool.  If you are calling a business, like say Verizon or AT&T, and you don't want to listen to the automated computer lady for an hour, you can go to this site, search for the business you are calling, and then get the instructions or codes to bypass all computed lady stuff and get right on to the live person.  I haven't used this, but I think I will.  It sounds like it would really save time and frustrations.

We made it for our church potluck today and it was a hit!  :)

Jesus LOVES you

I don't want this post to seem boastful or prideful.  That is not my intent.  I got an award today at church.  To my complete surprise.  In front of the congregation.  And I had to speak.  Yikes!!!!  I got it for going through nursing school, having Ryan at home, and being pregnant with Hunter 3 out of the 4 semesters; then having a newborn while I finished and not taking any kind of break.  Of course, this is all because of God, and not my own doing.  I really don't think it was that hard being pregnant during school.  I had an amazing pregnancy and I love being pregnant.  And the timing (God's timing) of course was perfect.  I had Hunter the first day of spring break so I had that week and then I took the next week off, but that was it.  Any way, I was completely humbled and totally caught off guard.  Sean really deserves the award for encouraging me through all of this and supporting me and for taking care of our boys at home, all while going to school, too.

The main point of the post is to let you know how much God loves you, even when you are a mess.  I am a mess!  I did not deserve this today.  It was just yesterday that I swore I didn't want to be with my husband anymore, that I was totally unhappy, let him know I had thought about divorce.  It was only yesterday that I felt hopeless and helpless.  Tired of living by my emotions and feelings.  Wondering why I can't have a great relationship with my Savior.  Wondering why He doesn't help me.  Why I always feel stressed and anxious.  Wondering why I feel the need to be perfect, the perfect mom, wife, have the perfect house.  Asking why I have to be jealous of others, why I think bad thoughts.  Frustrated that I don't pray enough, that I don't read the Bible like I should.  Low self-esteem.  No confidence. This was only yesterday.  And the day before that and the week before that, the month before that, and years before that.  Failing to realize what God has done in my life.  Failing to realize that God is certainly not working for me.  That I should be trying my best to do my best for Him.  It's not about me.  It's ALL about Him.  So selfish.  So stubborn.  But so LOVED by Him.   Forgiven by Him.  He shows mercy, kindness.  He is full of grace.  I can feel so alone.  I can complain.  I can wonder and not trust in Him.  To try to do this on my own.  I can really mess up.  Like I did yesterday.  Like I always do, but He can still do something amzing today.  He still loves me and my mess today.  How can you not LOVE a God that LOVES YOU THAT MUCH!?

Our days

Pool day at Uncle Dave's  (AKA "Pa") and Aunt Michelle's.  Ryan liked it for about 10 mins and then wasn't so thrilled.

Ryan requested popcorn at 10 a.m. this morning, then got up on the table, and watched Good Eats on Food Network

First time at the beach

Ryan LOVED the sand.  He didn't like to walk on it at first, but once he got used to it, he was off running down the beach
