10 Wednesday Thoughts

1.  Andrew is now in a booster seat.

2.  And we flipped Addison forward.  She was waving at everything out the window and couldn't stop grinning.  I shouldn't leave out that Andrew was pretty excited too.

3.  Me and Sean get a date night tomorrow after we pre-register at the hospital for baby Jessica and go to an OB appointment! 

4.  Ryan is missing like 6 teeth!

5.  Hunter.  Well no news really.  But didn't want to leave #2 out.  :)  

6.  Hailey started potty training.  :)  And she is doing great so far.  

7.  Addison is OFFICIALLY a walker.   No more crawling for her.  

8.  Ryan found a 4 leaf clover on Monday after searching for just a few mere minutes.  We were pretty excited.  I remember combing through clover patches when I was little, but never did find one.  

9.  Happy Spring!!!!!!  

10.  I'm 36 weeks now - I think everyone is getting excited to meet Jessica Grace :)

Nashville Family Time

My mom is in Nashville visiting my aunt and uncle and cousin and her husband and so on Sunday we loaded up for the day and drove over there to see everyone, but first we stopped at Gaylord Opryland to show the kiddos this awesome hotel!

And they loved it.  Ryan wants to go back and stay for his birthday.  Thinking not.  It's over 200 a night lol

We went back home that night and I have to say we were pleased at how well the kids did with the 3 hr drive each way and the quick, but BLESSED visit.  Hey.  No pictures of my mom.  :(  Or my aunt and uncle.  

Happy Thanksgiving 2016!

Sickness is slowly leaving our house, I'm thinking, I'm praying!  The kids still have congested coughs, but the noses have pretty much stopped running.  They act normal, well normal for them ha ha.  Sean and I both got the stomach virus on Monday night within an hour of each other and were both vomiting through the night.  We camped out in bed all day Tuesday and the kids really stepped it up.  They made breakfast and lunch and did chores and didn't fight with each other and swept and mopped and vacuumed all the floors.  We were proud parents!  We've never been that kind of sick at the same time with also have the whole parenting responsibility.  Any way, thank the Lord we are feeling better and have been able to enjoy a blessed Thanksgiving with Pappy!

On our way home from ATL, we stopped by Chattanooga and went to the Chattanooga Choo Choo.  We had taken Andrew there for his 3rd birthday and that place made lasting memories for all our children.  They still talk about it!  So we decided to take them back.

Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!  Praise the Lord He sent his son to die for our sins and that we are free from them and that Jesus cannot be held back by death.  He has risen! 

Me and Hailey in FL

Hailey and I flew down to Fl yesterday, leaving behind the rest of my family, including Grammy and Granpop.  

We went to the funeral this morning and I think I feel more sad now than I did before.  Everything went well.  I just miss her.  She was such a huge part of all of our lives and loved her family so much and kept us all together.  It's just not the same without her.  I feel a little depressed.  

I'm also dealing with a sinus infection, after a trip to the doctor on Wednesday and I missed two days of work.  Little man Andrew is on another round of antibiotics for another ear infection.  

Missing my family, but thankful they enjoyed their day at Dollywood.  I'm just sitting here while Hailey naps and Dad is mowing the lawn and I just don't know what to do with myself, which is not normal for me.  Usually the boys keep me busy!!!!  

I don't want too many things to change.  I hope the rest of our family makes an effort to stick together and spend time together.  I know Grandma was the glue that kept us altogether so I hope we don't fall apart now.  That's all I have ever known.  Our so close, eat at Capogna's once a week kind of family.

March 2014 Family Update

Since Hailey's birth we have been busy and relaxing all at the same time!


My MIL AKA Grammy came for a visit and stayed 9 days with us.  Even got to spend Hunter's birthday with us!  She was such a blessing and it was a joy to have her here and spend time with her! 


My Dad came in for a long weekend and just left a few hours ago.  We also loved having him here and are excited that we get to see him and more of my family in just a couple of short days when we fly down to Florida. 


My Mom has not gotten to meet Hailey yet, but we did get to see her and my Aunt Holli right before she was born! 


Our good friend Becca also came for a short visit to take pictures of Hailey.  She is amazing!


Sean is on Spring Break right now and it is sooooo nice to have him home! 


Our church was so sweet to bring us meals everyday for like a whole week!  We can't say enough how much that helped!!! 


Hailey is doing great!  She nurses well and sleeps well.  She gets a little bit of nighttime fussiness for about an hour or so, but no complaints!  She is precious! 


We took Hunter, Andrew, and Hailey in for well checkups last week and they are all healthy and doing well, Praise the Lord!  Hailey is over 9 pounds now! 


I started back to work last Sunday and worked 3 shorter shifts.  I cried the whole way there and once I got there that first shift back, but the other 2 shifts I did much better.  Hailey took to a bottle feeding perfectly, thank God!  Now, I am off for another 2 weeks.  :0)  Then I start back to 2 shifts week from 3-11.  I am so grateful to have the job I have!  It is such a blessing to our family!


And that leaves us with packing and getting ready for our FL vacay!

Weekend in Review

We headed off to North Carolina late Friday and arrived close to one in the morning.  We were there for Sean's grandma's memorial (she passed away a few days before Christmas).  We got to see Sean's parents and sister and most of his extended family.  We also got to meet our nephew for the first time (he is 6 months old now).   The night we arrived, the boys would not go to sleep till after three in the morning, which was challenging, and we woke up to a dead car battery because we left the DVD player plugged in!  We had to be up at seven to get ready for the memorial.  We were staying in Durham, but the service was an hour away in Sanford.  It went really well. It was very sweet, and sad, but I could feel God's presence as we gathered together to celebrate her life. 


By evening time, I was exhausted and not feeling very well.  Thursday night I awoke in the middle of the night feeling really awful and Saturday night it felt like the same thing so I stayed behind while the rest of the family went to dinner.  The extra rest really helped and praise God, I am feeling much better and I'm still pregnant lol! 


Yesterday morning we traveled to Winston Salem to visit our friends' church and then over to the children's hospital to visit them.  They just had a baby 11 days ago.  The baby's heart and lungs were not working immediately after a home birth and so baby has been in the hospital ever since.  The doctors think it was due to meconium aspiration.  He was on a machine was that was pumping out all of his blood and carbon dioxide.  He was taken off that and has been doing well.  His lungs still aren't working great and he has a lot of secretions with labored breathing and high respirations.  We were able to spend some time with them yesterday and hope that we were an encouragement.  We did not get to meet the little guy, but God's plans are best because I don't know emotionally if I could have handled seeing him......at least I probably wouldn't have been as strong as I would have liked to have been.  Of course, we do want to meet him, but hope to when he is back home in Virginia.  Their family is amazing and has been doing really well through this whole trial.  Of course it has been rough, especially with seven other children to care for, but they are resting in God's strength and His peace.  We were just grateful for God's timing and that He allowed us to be able to go see them on the way back to TN. 


So, we got back last night and it feels good to be home.  :)  Speaking of home, we found out on Friday that the owners of this home are putting it on the market.  Well, we knew they were, just not in January.  Our lease is good until July.  We are just praying for God's will and His wisdom and guidance.  If it hasn't sold by July, they will let us do a month to month.  We are starting to keep an eye out on a new rental home.  We do love where we are right now, but we are excited to see God's plan for our family. 


Tomorrow is our ultrasound to check on the baby since I'm measuring small.  We are excited to see him/her and I'm excited that Sean gets to come with me to an appointment!!!  :)

Grandma Brewner

Please pray for Sean and his family.  We found out early this morning that his Grandma passed away last night.  We are so grateful that we got to visit her in North Carolina back in June and that the boys got to meet her for the first time.  We had such a nice visit with her and it has been a blessing to know her.  Here are a couple of pictures from that visit. 

Colorado Thanksgiving

We had been praying about going out to Colorado to visit Sean's parents and siblings.  We had originally planned to go in the summertime, but it just wasn't in God's will at the time.  So, we patiently waited and were very excited that we got to go for Thanksgiving.  We left last Wednesday and got back this morning.  We actually drove 3.5 hours to Atlanta to catch a nine a.m. flight to CO, which meant leaving the house at 3 a.m. in a snow storm.  Then yesterday, we left at 7 p.m. from Denver and arrived to Atlanta around midnight.  We got back home around 5 this morning.  It all went really well though and the boys did very well with our odd traveling times.  The plane had to be de-iced in ATL on our way out to CO, which resulted in an extra 2 hours of just sitting on the plane, but most importantly we arrived safely.  We did have some Andrew fussing time on both flights, so hopefully our fellow passengers weren't too irritated by us!  The boys slept in until noon today, which was a HUGE blessing after not going to bed until 5 a.m. for me and Sean. 

We really enjoyed our visit with Mom and Dad (2) and Courtney and Kyle (Sean's siblings).  The weather was amazing too (pretty much a heat wave with temps in the 50s during the day!)

Focus on the Family headquarters are in The Springs.  They have a fairly large kids area that is free and open to the public and a really nice bookstore that Sean and I could have spent lots of time and money in!

Sean and I also got a daily date day at Starbucks, which was fantastic, even if it was so he could do some homework. 

So, we are home and it feels good, but we had such a blessed trip with the family!
