Ryan's birthday was April 29th, but we didn't do his birthday trip until this past Wednesday and got back last night because we waited for Sean to finish this semester of school. We went to Wilderness of the Smokies in Sevierville (right next to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg). We had gotten a good deal on a room and, well, Ryan loves hotel rooms and waterparks!!!!

| Also, this is where we first realize that something is wrong with Ryan! His eyes started gooping up and by the end of our time at the waterpark the first day, he was really sick. We got back to the hotel room and got him some meds for a 102 degree fever. He was on and off doing good and not so good the whole trip. We got the fever under control after that first night, but he still was dragging and cranky much of the vacay. |

Yesterday we went back to the waterpark and then to Mexican for lunch and Gatlinburg to walk around and look in some of the shops. On the way home, we stopped and got hotdogs for the boys and Starbucks for us. It is Frappy Hour until tomorrow at Starbucks!!!! Half price frapps from 3-5. :) They have a new caramel crunch frapp that is delish!
We also made $100 listening to one of those sales pitch presentations so that was sweet!
We had a blessed trip and we made some great memories and God is good! Although Ryan was sick, it could have been much, much worse. We are grateful for the time we got for a little vacation. :)
