Happy 4th of July!

Hope you had a nice 4th!  We went to Norris Day for a bit and then had some friends over for fun, food, and fireworks.  We didn't make it back to Norris for nighttime fireworks because I was feeling icky, but we really enjoyed our day! Oh and Ryan and Hunter each dunked a policeman and they thought that was hilarious except Ryan thought he might get arrested! lol

WVA Reunion

Last Friday we left a little after 4 a.m. and hit the road, on a 7 hour adventure to WVA!  We stopped in Roanoke to meet up with Dad and then caravanned the rest of the way to Berkeley Springs, WVA for the annual Beeton-Vetter reunion.  It is so beautiful up there.  We stayed at Cacapon State Park in a cabin with Dad.  Well, it rained ALL of Saturday.  Like we had flash flood watches kind of rain.  So, the reunion was moved indoors and hiking, lake swimming, and golf were cancelled.  But we all tried to make the best of it and remain in good spirits and really we did enjoy ourselves.  It was a blessing to see the family and to spend time with Dad and to be in such a gorgeous setting.  And the rain hitting the rooftop of the cabin made for some excellent sleeping.  :)

Sean's 35th Birthday.....

....was the 23rd.  :)  I haven't been feeling super great so Sean cooked us burgers on the grill for his birthday and he helped me make his strawberry cheesecake!  He wanted brats, but my tummy couldn't handle such things.  Bad wife!!!!  I think he enjoyed his birthday anyway though.  :)  Happy Birthday sweetie!

Celebrate Sean Day!

I didn't actually post any pictures of Sean in this post, but this is all about him!  :)  Saturday was his day to pick whatever he wanted to do (that was free!) to celebrate Father's Day and his birthday.  He picked the zoo.  It rained a little, but no complaints! This is Andrew on the train.  :)

And then Hunter wanted to use his own money to ride a camel, but last minute changed his mind and decided to spend it on a train ride, as well.  :)  Ryan used his money to buy Dippin Dots, which Hunter and Andrew also got because the must have had lots of money! 

New Swimmer

All the swim lessons Pappy got for Ryan finally paid off!!!!!  He is moving up to a new swimmers level, too!!!!

Zoo Day

Got to feed the giraffe.  There was a charge to do so and Sean gave Hunter the money and he tried to pay the giraffe instead of paying the zoo person!  :)

The zebras were FINALLY out and this made Hunter SUPER happy!
