Hailey is 3!
She fights naps so I captured her taking one lol. |
Peanut has a bum eye. It's super swollen in the mornings and its purple-pink. Sooo, we are calling the MD in the morning. |
Then home for homemade chicken nuggets. Playing with her new Hello Kitty airplane. It's popular with everyone lol. |
We decorated a little for her party. |
The boys made her posters that said "I love you" and "Happy Birthday". |

The birthday party aftermath! |
Hunter saved his money for a new Star Wars lego so he was more interested in building that than in the party. |

I Love You Day Party! 3rd Annual?
We made Devil Dogs. And ode to the hubby :) http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/devil-dogs/ |
This year, the kids got Chik-Fil-A (because that was their vote) and we got Chinese takeout. |
Let the party begin! |
And the after pictures! lol |
And I just wanted to mention that Sean and I are rejoicing! Since deployment, oohhhh about 11 years ago, I have built up a pretty good wall to protect myself from being hurt/left again. I have tried to let go of it MANY times, but have not succeeded. And by no means has our marriage been bad, but there has always been that wedge because I have been unable to give myself completely to my man. Until now. I am thanking God. I don't know how it happened, but it did and we are both so excited. And acting like newlyweds lol. It's probably gross. HA HA. It was something from our anniversary last weekend. I wanted to feel sorrow at first because it has taken so long, but we are too happy rejoicing. And I wanted to feel bad and ask why Sean stuck by me all these years being the steady man that he is, but I will just be thankful. Thank you!

12th Anniversary on the 12th!
Here's us at The Front Porch. It is an amazing place to eat, so romantic and cozy! |
Special V-Day menu. Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE having an anniversary 2 days before Valentine's? Everything's already so love, love, love!!!! |
These were on our table from Sean :) |
Cheese and bacon bread appetizer. After dinner, we went swimming at the hotel and back to the room to relax. |
View from our room of Knox. |
Breakfast at our hotel at Windows on the Park |
babe |
Went for a walk at World's Fair Park after breakfast. It was 70 degrees yesterday!!!!!! |
We noticed the little coffee shop in our hotel had a zebra mocha, so in honor of Hunter, we had to get it. It was good, but SUPER sweet! |
And this is where we ended our excursion. Right where it began roughly 24 hours before. :) We even got to sit outside. In February! |
We did, however, make stops at Trader Joe's, the car wash (lol), and the animal shelter before going to *bux. This cat Penelope was the sweetest! |
As were these 2 dogs, Tank and Little Man. And no we did not add a new member to our household. |
Once we got home, we got to spend some time with the kiddos, who were missed!, and we let them watch our wedding DVD for the first time. It was sweet to do that together. Show them the start of their Mommy and Daddy. After kiddos went to bed, we enjoyed a bath and a Valentine's Hallmark movie (well, until I fell asleep during it lol).
Even a day away helped us to feel renewed and refreshed personally, as a couple, and in our mommy/daddy roles. We both needed that. It's weird being without them and really quiet, and then it was tough to transition back to being with them. lol. Either way, we are so grateful for our anniversary time together and we were grateful to be back together as a family of 7. :)
Lastly, I feel so in love all over again (like when we first met) with Mr. B. It's amazing. Thanking, praising God for our weekend!

Prayers needing to go up
I just have some prayer requests.
1. The first one is an unspoken.
2. My Dad/Pappy to the kids. He has been in severe pain for about 2 weeks now. Long story short, he has not been able to get in with pain management yet, but finally has an appointment scheduled on Valentine's Day, thank the Lord. He has had two trips to the ER, no sleep hardly, and has lost function in his right arm (numb, weak, etc). He has not been able to work or really do anything. All he has been doing is talking to doctors and their staff, which has been a long, frustrating process.
3. My Aunt Tanya. Not sure what is going on exactly, but I know it is health related.
4. My Aunt Dana and the whole Cohen family. She just lost her son this week (my cousin), who was only 33 years old and had 2 little boys, ages 2 and 4. Please, please pray for them. It is such a tragedy and so sad.
5. Our little Andrew. He went back to the ENT yesterday. He still has fluid on his eardrums, but it has improved since his last visit on Dec. 27th. Dr. Graves wants to give it 6 more weeks to see if it will clear up even more, so we have our next appointment March 30th, I believe. At that point, there will probably be a decision made on if little guy needs a 3rd set of ear tubes. Hoping, hoping not.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
