We had a family meeting with Dad, my uncles, and Grandma last night to talk about Granddad.  He does not seem to be getting any better.  He is in heart failure and has fluid in his lungs.  They have to suction him every 30 minutes.  He is very uncomfortable, unhappy and agitated - partly because of the Alzheimer's, partly because he is in pain.  Today is his birthday so we will be going down there to see him.  I think my family is  going to meet with the doctors tomorrow morning to see if there is anything else that can be done for him.
