This was the start of his first day of swim lessons in his new class. He graduated from the parent-child classes to level 1 where it is him, other students, and his teacher. He was so upset that he was alone and not with Daddy. It broke my heart. I tried to help encourage him to get in and have fun, but he wouldn't so the teacher just said it was OK, they would handle it. So I went upstairs to the bleachers to watch. It took all of me not to go rescue him, but I knew I shouldn't. At first he couldn't spot where we were, but finally he did and so every time he would look up at us we would smile, clap and wave. |

Still VERY upset! |
|
Refusing to participate, but turned around now and watching. |

And he's in! |
|
And listening to his teacher |
|
And swimming with his teacher and smiling! |
|
And now flirting with the lttle girl next to him. He was talking away to her and then a little later he took of his shoes, filled them with water, and started pouring the water on her head. Not a good way to get a date! lol |

Telling his teacher something important! |
We are very proud of him. Let's hope tomorrow he remembers that he has fun doing it!

we really need to get broxton in swim lessons...
Good he went in and interacted with others:)
He usually adapts pretty easily. It was just a painful 5 minutes or so......maybe more for me.
