Title?

Checking in to update our weekend.

Friday we went down to 3rd Friday in Safety Harbor. They had a lot of vendors, food and music and the shops were open late. There were a ton of people there. Yesterday we made jalapeƱo bread for the first time and took it to a cookout at Wall Springs Park. Keller Williams had a family picnic and our Realtor invited us to come. It was very nice. The springs there are really cool and there were boardwalks and an observation tower and fishing piers. It was really quite gorgeous and the weather was nice. Off to the Humane Society after that. Then we went to the movies and saw Nights in Rodanthe. It was so good and sad. I was balling. I think it was more sad than The Notebook. Nicholas Sparks is awesome! He really knows how to write a love story.

The Rays lost last night so on to game 7 tonight to see if they make it to the World Series.

Allie and I woke up to a real bright green circle of glowing light and loud noises around 5 this morning. It was pretty scary. I could see it through the closed blinds in the sky and the power went out. Don't know exactly what it is, but when we took Allie for a walk this morning Progress Energy was out by our front entrance fixing the power lines. Pretty crazy that I could see it from where we live and that it woke me up.

It is 63 degrees this a.m. I am so ready for cooler weather. I love FL, but I can't wait to move to a place where we have all 4 seasons. I miss that a lot! Even though I am a wimp when it comes to cold, I still want to see the leaves change, some snow and spring time blooming; not 10 months of heat and humidity.

Happy Sunday!

Hi Hettie! Its great to read your blog and read what is happening with you guys! We had our first 3 inch snow and icy roads this week here in Colorado! Glad you guys saw Nights in Rodanthe-we did too. We would go to the Outer Banks quite often when we were stationed in NC. Read the book!! Hugs from us all-Nancy

Hi! Thanks for reading the blog. Nice to see that. I miss seasons so much and would love to see some snow. The next place we move will definitely have all 4 seasons. You introduced us to Nicholas Sparks. He is our favorite author. We will definitely read the book too. Take care and hugs back!

OK, thanks for the recommendation! Sean bought me At First Sight for my BD back in July and I still have not read it! I have been reading a lot of baby stuff! ;)
